Met up with Stu this morning (I slept in though - sorry mate!).
Turned up at the bank to see stu already fishing, so I decided to wade half way across the river, and beyond, chasing trout that were rising. This got me know where so we decided to wander upstream a bit.
This time we changed to spider patterns and nymphs on the point, I waded beyond an island and fished across and downstream. I was quickly hitting into a nice trout, which out a decent bend in the rod.
This was quickly followed by a couple more.
I had another small fish after a move upstream, and that was that. Great fun, fantastic river and good company.
Overall an enjoyable mornings fishing
